Hi All,

What size bolts do you use to mount a R2800 engine for a static display. My 2800 will be fully cantilevered / suspended by the engine mount. The CV 440 engine mount has only four 1/2in diameter bolts to bolt the QEC to the frame... seems a bit small to me. I’d hate the have a bolt failure and destroying my motor in the process. Th AN8 bolts I plan on using have a certified tensile strength of 18500 lbs. the 2 bolts on top will be the only ones subjected to tension.
Thanks
Marc
