Hi

the well known Ford GAA tank engine was derived from a V12 aero engine develoment (GAC). I would like to find out more about this intresting design, since it has some modern features like DOHC, tapped valve train, central spark plug and a narrow valve angle. This engine looks very modern compared to contemporary aero engines, so I would expect, that it had the potential of becomming a superior aero engine, unfourtunally there are almost no information about the engine available other than that. Does anybody know more about the engine?
