We're now making both types of caps for the Bosch HL-8 magneto;
- HL8-DC1 has vertical threaded stud HT connections, single brush & clip fitment as fitted to aircraft applications
- H:8-DC2 has horizontal bayonet screw HT connections, double brush & screw fitment as fitted to motor vehicle applications.

I was going through my copies of Torque Meter and noticed that on the cover of the issue that contained "Re-inventing the Liberty Cap" was a photo of the Bugatti U-16. Ironically, several years hence, we now make the magneto cap for the Bugatti as well (Bosch HL-Cool. It was one of those "woo hoo" moments, kinda eerie.....
