slighty OT but where I can find CDs having sounds of steam..

engines, especially trains? Though it might that there are no such CDs...

Check out sound effect libraries. They train drivers and firemen, (footplate crew, for the Americans) on an old steam train, near my home in Scotland. I'm sure I recognised a guy working with a big tape recorder at the local station, when the train was there, who I also met at an old car rally, doing the same thing, and he worked for one of those libraries.

There is an excellent tape by Hopewell Productions called " Runnin That New River Train" that i think you would enjoy. It puts you in the cab of a Berkshire engine with mikes so you can hear crew comments & the stack talk is great as she works up hill. Turn up the volume & you`er right there !!!!
