I found some interesting scans of Bristol paper engine studies from the 1940s while searching. I haven't heard any discussion of these beside the Orion before; I wonder if the person posting this is an AEHS member. Nick Sumner?

EDIT: I found that there was a link to these in the Member's Section, along with the Orion Design Notes, posted much earlier.
