Rolls-Royce Merlin XX

This engine has a 1" bore and 1.2" stroke, for a displacement of 11.31 cu in. Construction started in July 1976 and was completed in December 1981. There were significant problems with the operational miniature magnetos, carburetor and fuel system. Over 7,000 parts comprise the engine, and over 6,000 hours were required to complete it.
