Muncie engines were built by the Muncie Gear Co. of Muncie, Indiana during WWII. The firm developed a small two-stroke cycle engine to power radio-controlled target drones for US Army and Navy gunnery practice. The compiler has found only the brief specifications given below for the experimental Military version; see the AMC reference that can be reached at the Aircraft Engine Historical Society Home Page under their "Reference" heading.
