Minié (France)

Établissements Minié of Colombes (Seine), France began to build four-cylinder HOAE for light aircraft in the mid-1930s. The company was well known for their light-alloy casting capability. The pre-WWII Minié engines had cylinders and heads cast in pairs. The company was reformed after WWII as Victor Minié Aéronautique in Paris (17e), France and continued to develop and produce HOAE until about 1954. Their post-war engine designs had each cylinder and head cast separately.
